I taught a class last week in Los Angeles, for the California Department of Education. Erik and The Boys came with me, and they had many adventures while I worked during the day. Then, we stayed for an extra three days of DisneyLand! Which left us feeling like this. :) We drove home late yesterday, and it was back at work for me today. Which was quite a relief, after all that fun. I needed a day at work to recover from this 'vacation'!
I've missed your posts! I remember my first trip to Disneyland with my mom, Gram, Aunt Barbara, and all the cousins- what a blast!! Tell us about the class you taught. Oh wow, at first glance, I thought the picture of Tommy was his mother. Moose
ReplyDeleteGlad you had the opportunity to have a late summer "break". La
ReplyDeleteWhat fun. Love the pictures, those are two tired boys.
ReplyDelete@Moose ~ I missed keeping up with everybody, too! That's so funny...I was telling Erik about going to Knott's Berry Farm in Barbara and Larry's old white Town and Country station wagon! Such fun memories. *sigh* :) Also? Just today? My mom said, "Tommy looks JUST LIKE YOU!" haha! My class was an institute on teaching problem solving with young 'uns. :) My passion, for sure.
ReplyDelete@La ~ Yes! Exactly. :) It was a perfect long weekend that really felt like SUMMER before going back to school next week.
@Betty ~ lol Tell me about it! They were filthy and exhausted. Erik pointed out that Tommy had been wearing those shorts since Saturday. "Now THAT'S a vacation!" I said. :)
